Since 2003, Christ’s Hope has been caring for orphaned or vulnerable children in CarePoints located in Keetmanshoop, Rehoboth, Okahandja and Oshikuku. Currently we serve 370 children, but our aim is to double that number by 2025 and serve more towns.
We supply sustainable support to break the cycle of AIDS and poverty in their lives. The children in our program benefit from a holistic care model by attending an after-school program at our CarePoints which is build close to their school and home. After school they receive a warm meal and locally employed CareGivers care for a group of a maximum of 15 children. All activities and program content are overseen by Christ’s Hope International to ensure up-to-date teaching methods and support systems. We are not offering a quick fix. The children enter the program at ages 6 to 8 years and graduate when they are 18.
